Analyze and interpret microseismic and seismological datasets

Support the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of seismic monitoring systems

Develop, improve and automate seismic data processing and monitoring workflows

Contribute to international projects in geothermal energy, oil & gas, mining, CCS and other subsurface energy applications

Collaborate with clients, research institutions, and multidisciplinary project teams

Explore, develop, and apply innovative approaches to geophysical data analysis and interpretation

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Physics, or a related scientific or engineering discipline

Strong knowledge of seismological data acquisition, processing, and interpretation, including relevant software tools and analysis workflows

Programming skills in MATLAB and/or Python

Experience working with scientific datasets and applying statistical and signal-processing methods

Good command of German or English, both written and spoken

Knowledge of microseismic monitoring and induced seismicity analysis

Hands-on experience with seismic instrumentation, monitoring networks, and field operations

Additional background in fracture mechanics, rock mechanics, reservoir characterization, or related disciplines

Knowledge of deep geothermal energy, oil & gas, CCS, or other subsurface engineering applications

Experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to geophysical data analysis

Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
